1/2 tin susu manis
1 sudu bicarbonate of soda

Cara-caranya
Mix fruit dicuci dengan aliran air untuk membuang kandungan gula.Kemudian jemur di panas terik matahari selama satu jam.Proses ini akan meringankan buah dan tidak akan tenggelam sewaktu dimasak.Kemudian gaul buah bersama dengan 1 gelas tepung gandum
Pukul mentega hingga kembang
Masuk gula sedikit demi sedikit dan pukul hingga kembang
Masuk telur satu persatu dan pukul lagi hingga kembang
Masuk susu manis dan soda bicarbonate dan esen vanilla
Masuk tepung secara berselang seli dengan buah buahan kering yang telah digaul dengan tepung
Sediakan loyang pengukus
Kukus adunan selama 8 jam.Lagi lama dikkukus lagi gelap warna kek

Old fashioned fruit cake
10 large eggs
500 gm high quality butter
300 gm fine sugar
1 kilo mix fruit
400 gm wheat flour (3glass)
1/2 tin condensed milk
1 tbsp bicarbonate of soda
Vanilla essence
Wash mix fruits under running water.Rinse and dry under hot sun for an hour,This process will reduce sugar volume and fruits wont sink during baking.Then mix fruits with 1 glass of wheat flour
Whisk butter till fluffy
Add sugar gradually and whisk again until fluffy
Add in eggs one by one and beat till fluffy
Add in condensed milk,bicarbonate of soda and vanilla essence
Add in flour interluding with mixed fruit which has been mixed with flour
Mix wel until all ingredients are well combined
Prepare greased cake tin
Steam for 8 hours.The longer the steaming process will result in a darker cake appearance
